Are you a young artist, designer, photographer or filmmaker with a message to share and a passion for adventure? In December 2011, Arabia Offscreen will invite 10 talented winners to explore the incredible life and culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Offscreen is an award-winning social enterprise based in the UK promoting cross-cultural understanding amongst young people. A not-for-profit initiative specialising in building creative bridges across economic and geographical borders, especially between the UK, Middle East and Asia.
Offscreen Expeditions organises education journeys each year in order to create a legacy of cultural understanding and support genuinely 'global citizens' of the future. Through a series of interactive educational expeditions and classroom resources, we provide a powerful platform for young people to create a grassroots portrait of each other's cultures. During the expedition, we support these young filmmakers, photographers, artists and writers to develop their creative and leadership skills, so that they can return to their communities and be a force for positive change.
